Working With Families

This module explores issues that arise for families and caregivers of those with dementia. Coping skills, problem solving, and communication techniques are presented in order to help families and caregivers effectively deal with the difficulties that arise when caring for a person with dementia. This lesson module is 20.00 dollars and offers 1 CEU credit in California, Illinois and Nevada.

  • Identify 3 issues that a family of a person with dementia may encounter during the course of the disease
  • Identify 3 emotions that a family member of a person with dementia may experience
  • Identify 3 strategies to create a positive relationship with the family
