Personal Care & Special Needs

This module explores the issues of personal care and addresses the special care needs of those with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. This lesson module is 20.00 dollars and offers 1 CEU credit in California, Illinois and Nevada.

  • Define the role of the caregiver when assisting with personal care and special needs
  • Define and identify 2 examples of excess disabilities
  • Identify 3 useful techniques in each of the following areas of personal care: dressing, eating, bathing, and incontinence
