Navigating the Website and Course Modules

To sign up for courses, click on the link for View Online Training.

Select the modules you wish to purchase and fill out the registration form. Select the type of CEU’s/certificate of completion you need and submit the form with your payment (e.g., Visa or Mastercard). You must have an e-mail address to sign up for courses. Click the ‘Submit’ button.

An e-mail with your username and a password will be sent to you immediately.

Now click on ‘My Lesson Modules’. You will be asked to enter your username and password. Once you do that, you will see any course modules you paid for. You can leave the module at any time and reenter using your username and password. Click on the one you wish to enter. Each module contains the following:

• Pre-test
• Outline of the Module
• Objectives: goals for learning
• Handouts
• Lecture
• Video excerpts (mpeg format, click to play)
• Photos and other visual illustrations
• Post-test
• Evaluation component

The outline of each module is designed to assist you by tracking where you are in the curriculum. The objectives for each module are the goals for learning. Handouts are provided as a resource and a link for each handout (click to download) is included at the beginning of the module, in the left column under media, and within the lecture itself.

Numerous video excerpts are include (mpeg file). The video excerpts are designed to enhance the learning experience and require a video player (Windows Media Player, Quicktime) which is available on most computers and can be downloaded for free if it is not already installed.

The module is also designed with a post-test and evaluation to assess knowledge gained as a result of the training program. CEUs/certificates of completion are provided only if participants pass 70% or more of the post-test questions and complete the evaluation.

To receive your CEU Certificate / Certificate of Completion:

1. Register and complete one of the modules
2. Complete the post-test with a passing grade (70%)
3. Submit Evaluation
4. The CEU Certificate / Certificate of Completion will be sent to your email address
